day + two

Tomorrow morning will start early and the day will feel neverending. Our plane to China will basically follow the sun, and will place us 15 hours ahead of Utah. According to Expedia, our total duration including connections will be 18 hours 47 minutes. This approximation does not include travel time to and from the airport. All in all, it will be close to 24 hours of travel but will really feel like 48 hours. Luckily we have both experienced this long way of traveling before, so we have some idea of what to expect...though that kind of travel is never fun. We will fly to Los Angeles for a three hour layover, then head directly to Shanghai for our final destination. Adam starts his classes on Saturday, so we have a couple of days to situate ourselves. Adam has been to Shanghai four times and I have been there zero times. I am excited and anxious to experience the largest city in China, 25 million people...three times the size of New York City.
